Or even better, a solid alternative to this app? In the meantime, if you are on Catalina: DO NOT BUY THIS APP.*UPDATE: I did finally get a refund after one of the developers came across this post. Instead she is blaming me for having a large music library with dozens of playlists (25,000+ songs and 200 or so playlists to be more specific). Also, keep in mind that I have to be within range of my home WiFi for this entire process. At this point the developer has done a 180 and is refusing a refund. Compounding the matter, all of my attempts at syncing except one have been a failure. Best free photoshop graphic software for macYes, four hour WiFi connections might time out. While we've been working with the OP across many emails, and will continue to do so, right now the only issue we've found is on Apple Music's side. We are all hopeful that they'll bring XML support to the Music app. They've forced apps like iSyncr to use a slower method of gathering information. Hopefully a future update changes thatUnfortunately, Apple does not support the XML interface iTunes has in the new Music app. I wish I could make it faster. Three minutes of that time was spent just fetching information from Apple's new Music app. In a test, I just synced 1,767 songs, and it took 3 minutes and 17 seconds. The sync is slightly faster/slower based on the computer too. Also, Apple's design choice uses more processing. Also, if all you really need is your new music on your phone each night, you could make a smart playlist in iTunes of only newly added music, and just sync that playlist. ISyncr has some more aggressive retry settings that *might* help. If you do configure a 40,000 song sync for every night, it might time out gathering all that information, just a small glitch in the WiFi connection will do that, or an error from the Music app. That's just the new Music app's performance. In iSyncr, you can setup a nightly sync, as I do, that syncs my library every night while I'm asleep. It would take four times as long if you have four copies of that same playlist, just in a different order. The bad news? If you want to re-sync 40,000 songs (108 days of music) it would take 68.4 minutes on my machine, just to gather the information needed to start the sync. The second email said "wait, I'm getting an error now". The first email said "this is really slow". Early in the conversation, the OP sent two consecutive emails. What happened here was a misunderstand. Of course we discuss these issues, but the OP's statements don't line up with our 10-year old refund policy or how my wife treats customers. In the same situation, I would be as angry as the OP is. Given the confusion, I can now understand the frustration this has caused. The OP read it as we will issue a refund if we cannot fix being slower than syncing with iTunes (first email). My wife meant we will issue a refund if we cannot work around the error in the second email. Furthermore, I'm not syncing all those songs each time. There was absolutely nothing unreasonable I was asking or expecting, and I highly doubt this would have been properly resolved if I wasn't forced to take the issue public.-I'm attempting to sync a library of around 25,000 songs, not 40,000 songs (which was never an issue with any syncing options I've used in the past). I was tricked in to paying top dollar for an update to an app that rendered said app basically useless and then denied the refund I was previously told I could get. She tried to flip it in to "if I can help you get this app to work on my terms, even if it is the most fractured, time consuming, and frustrating method that absolutely pales in comparison to how things worked with our old app, then you should stop complaining about things, accept the app for what it is, and meekly take the blame for having a very large music library (and oh yeah: it's on you to contact Apple, check out other music syncing apps for potential ideas, and help us get this app working efficiently again)".I absolutely do appreciate your time, your apology, the usage I got out of the old version of iSyncr, and the refund but that doesn't erase the unacceptable way your wife navigated through the troubleshooting process with me. I read it as "if this app in any way doesn't work efficiently, effectively, and/or within anything close to the same range of quality it did before" I am entitled to a refund.
